Anyone had a neck tuck?

I'm 52 this year and recovering from treatment for breast cancer. I'm very happy with how I look except for my (now massive after plentiful steroid treatments) triple chin. I am seriously considering a neck tuck to fix it - as it's not an area you can exercise.

Has anyone had a neck tuck in the UK? Looking for recommendations & info. Thanks

You can do neck exercises, but you have to do them consistently. Have you thought of kybella injections? The only thing is, the down time-there is swelling afterwards which can take some time to go down, and you’ll need more than one session.
There are other treatments, cool sculpting, liposuction etc. Do you have a clinic near you where you can go and discuss options? With a neck tuck or lift, you may need lipo first.

Hi There. I had a neck lift (along with a facelift) back in Jan 24. By the pre-eminent neck surgeon on Harley St. Dr Kremer. There is only one review (on realself) by someone, right at the bottom, where the results are poor, and she was fobbed off saying it was the fault of her skin.

I too, have had a very poor result from his work (Cobra neck after first op), including a revision surgery (more ££££) which has made a slight improvement, but has left me with a stringy and ropey neck, and a flabby bit along one jaw.

I have consulted with a reconstructive surgeon who said liposuction as a revision procedure is rarely the answer. Which I would have expected a Dr famed for his excellence in necks to know.

So: do NOT be swayed by a Dr's address [ just adds to the costs], nor Tatler et al declaring them "the best neck Dr" [by what metrics?].

Pay for consultations with 3 surgeons (about £200 each) - it will be worth it in the long run to be totally comfortable with your surgeon.

Have it done, for sure; my case is sadly for me, not the norm. There ARE brilliant results out there to be had.

I'm happy for you that you have receovered from your cancer and are happy with yourself. Good work. And the best of luck.
