Gorgeous autumnal dresses

I've lost all my baby weight and an awful ex partner since last Christmas and now I feel myself again I want a gorgeous autumn and winter wardrobe.

I like dresses with ankle boots, prints, strong colours. I'm a size 6-8 5"4 brunette. Not on a budget but equally don't want to spend many hundreds per item.

Does anyone have suggestions of where I can shop? John Lewis app had very little.

For prints and strong colours, I recommend Farm Rio. Possibly a bit over budget at new prices, but they have sales, and there's a fair amount on Vinted and Vestiaire.

I too like a long dress with boots. If I had the money and the figure, I'd buy everything in the Joe Browns catalogue. Be aware you might need a slip with the dresses though - they do come up a bit thin on a bright day.

Wyse often have something to fit the bill (around the £200 mark). I also have the found the odd Boden dress that works.

Well, if we’re stretching don't want to spend many hundreds per item to beyond £200 then you really ought to look at Klements. Hard to pick just one of the new collection of dresses, but this is definitely autumnal colours:

I bought this dress very recently wore it today and got lots of lovely comments. I’m 5’4” and it’s maybe mid calf length on me. They have lots of lovely Autumn dresses of the Joe Brown website.

I got this one new from FP which I can’t wait to wear with a light brown suede pointy boot, it’s a gorgeous deep autumnal pink and nice thick material.

Pink is not an autumnal colour and the chest is exposed meaning you'll feel cold. Nice summer dress maybe.
