Dd 18 has got eczema at the top of her legs.

she needs some boxers to enable it to recover. Not fancy ones, just plain cotton ones. I can find plenty for 35 quid a pop. But she just needs basic ones and they have to be cotton.

And they don’t exist.

They are having a fashion moment so it brings up a lot of these. She just wants normal ones, but isn’t keen on wearing mens.

I absolutely love these ones, OP.

They're cotton, have some length in the legs and have a really wide crotch area. They are unbelievably comfortable. I don't wear any other knickers now.

The boxers from Bon Prix are really comfy (just ignore that they called them 'girlie' boxers).

Are they t shirt fabric?

Depend what material your T-shirt is made from 😅

The Wirapa ones are 95% cotton and 5% elastane. So, yes, kind of T-shirt-y material.

The thing I find about most women's boxers (like the Next ones and the Bon Prix ones) are that the leg isn't long enough.

So they're not actually shorts so much as just massive knickers - you can see on the third and fourth photo in on the Next webpage that the bottom of the shorts doesn't even clear the models bum.

Yes, the Next ones look like the Asda multipack of 'shorts' knickers, just more expensive per pair.

Thank you for all the help.

But need woven ones. Like mens check ones. So there’s breathing room!

Not underwear, but would cotton cycling shorts do in 100% cotton.
I go to Asda and get the pack of 3 from the school range and they are good and long. They are cheap and are 100% cotton. They are generally black or navy and very cosy. I wear the biggest ones at 15-16 years underneath skirts and they are fabulous.

I have never seen loose ones for women. She might have to wear mens. If you find any please tag me as my daughter would love some. I wonder how easy they are to make?

Try Tesco. They have woven cotton sleepwear in at the moment. Not sure if they have shorts though. I usually buy mine there, when I see them. Usually cotton poplin or gingham, and normally about £10 for shorts and a vest top.
