Chin hair wtf

Help me please!

I've never posted on this topic before because I'm less interested in style and beauty than almost any woman I've ever met. Since my late teens my hair removal routine (for above the neck) has been the same, a bit of veet, or whatever they're calling immac these days, between the eye brows and on the upper lip ever few weeks and then a pair of tweezers to the odd long hair which randomly appears on the chin/neck and will suddenly appear in the unforgiving light of a sunny afternoon or a fluorescent lit workplace loos mirror.

But increasingly over the past year or so (I'm 43) there are teeny tiny hairs proliferating on my chin like mushrooms in a woodland. The bastards are everywhere. They're almost too fine to get hold of with tweezers. I don't think they're very visible - though my skin is fair and my hair dark so who knows - but I hate them!

What do people use? I don't want to go to a beautician for regular or even one off appointments so I'm hoping there is some gadget someone might recommend that I can buy which will (as close to painlessly as possible) rid me of these troublesome hairs!

Very grateful for any recommendations!

Philips Lumea on the face. Electrolysis on the bastard ones that won’t shift.
I get dermaplaning once in a while, not for dark hair, but for the fuzz. I bought one from Boots but not taken out the packet yet.

It’s a winter project to zap all hair.

Wow thank you for all the replies! Lots to think about and nice to know I'm not alone in stubble chin purgatory...
Tbf the hair on my head is dark but examining it in the mirror this morning, to the consternation of my smallest child, I reckon the hair on my chin is much lighter. Which is a shame as otherwise the lumea sounds like a great option!
Off to goggle dermaplaning....

They come back so quickly, I can barely keep up with the little horrors 😮
I get so distracted if I'm out and feel new bristly bits - always worry that my chin is going to look one big bollock by the time I get home 😬
(And honestly, those weird, random 4 inch ones that you suddenly spot growing out of a cheek or ear lobe are my nemesis...)

Those long ones are so bizarre and unsettling because they go from apparently not there at all to four inches long, as you say. But then I think they must have been there and only slightly less long for a while and somehow I didn't realise... shudder.

I had a weird long one which I now pluck out before it gets a chance, but I'm left with a permanent bump/lump I don't know how to get rid of, good job it's just the one hair.
