Well I'm not going to bother
It says you can't wash it,only dry cleaning
Not really worth paying over £10 cleaning ....for a cheap jacket is it

If you really want it buy it. Don't have to dry clean, a bit of febreeze does wonders!

Whydontclothesfitanymore · 07/09/2024 17:09

It's horrible. But my taste isn't your taste.

Bet Lynch?? Hahahaha what made her tacky was not the leopard print but how she wore it. Animal print is super chic.

Someone needs to talk to whoever decides what's chic and what isn't. Animal prints never look good.

No.

How would you style it?
Artfully draped in the bin.

kitsuneghost · 07/09/2024 17:14

Only if you are 5ft tall size 6 with a blonde pixie cut.
That's the only kind of person I see it looking good on

Like this? (I genuinely love Su Pollard)

I like the jacket, I would have worn maybe a couple years ago but now it seems leopard print is middle aged mum uniform (yes, I am a middle aged mum).

Hahaha 😂 I can only aspire to that level of glamour💅

SunshineonLeaves · 07/09/2024 18:15

God I hate it when something gets deemed ‘middle aged Mum uniform’ but as much as I love leopard it is a bit everywhere lately. Don’t see why being middle aged or a Mum is such a problem though 🙄

Also surely Kat Slater is the modern reference not Bet Lynch?

Love the idea of looking like you’re spoiling for a fight behind Aldi 😂 As in I find it funny not that I want to look like that!

Appalonia · 07/09/2024 18:17

I totally get the Bet Lynch thing, and I'm busty so have to be careful, but to me, leopard print, like tartan, still has that slightly punk connotation, so I do love it! Tho it totally depends how you style it. But then, I've reached the age where I only dress to please myself and I trust my own sense of style. If you love it, wear it!

Aria999 · 07/09/2024 18:34

No.

I like leopard print and am secretly quite pleased that it's everywhere right now (though that means it will unfortunately date soon).

but I dislike that short boxy shape with the high collar.

FuckThePoPo · 07/09/2024 18:53

Ive just bought these

I like a little bit of leopard now and again, if everything else in the outfit is low key - have a great pair of kitten heel sling backs - but there’s a bit too much of it around for me just now. That said, I like that jacket - worn with understated black jeans, and a black top it would look good. Also like leopard with cream, or brown.

Don't let dry cleaning put you off. I've gently machine washed several dry clean only coats and they have all survived.

I quite like it, would def keep the rest of the outfit quite neutral though.
I love abit of leopard print though. I have pumps, skirt, trainers, dresses and scarf in leopard print.
It does mix surprisingly well with some prints too....I have a plaid jacket with leopard print lining and they really look good together.

BCBird · 07/09/2024 19:19

Ove a leopard print but am mot keen on that OP

SallyWD · 07/09/2024 19:20

No I don't but I'm not known for being stylish!

canyon2000 · 07/09/2024 19:38

I love it! I am wearing leopard print jeans today so could go for double leopard🐯

TeamPolin · 07/09/2024 20:29

Leopard print is quite 'marmite' IMO. I am not a fan personally....

familyissues12345 · 07/09/2024 20:56

I'm not a fan of the jacket (for me, it would look cracking on someone else!)

My sons GF bought some leopard print straight leg jeans recently, she's an annoying tall willowy type and she looks great in them!

It's not a problem, but I went to a school meeting and 90% of the middle aged mums there were wearing something leopard print, personally it puts me off wearing it

echt · 08/09/2024 01:23

I think it's lovely, @ohwhatanighy and would wear it in a heartbeat, depending on material and texture.

I think it's a slim person's jacket so plain dark below or double leopard.

greengreyblue · 08/09/2024 08:35

Those awful middle aged mums trying to be fashionable! Who do they think they are? Fashion is for the cool young mums only!!! Everyone knows that surely…..🙄

LessMeek · 08/09/2024 09:24

Animal print is not for me, but I think it can look good, worn well. Love the Su Pollard quirky punkish look with it, I think you definitely need a big personality to really carry it off. When worn to look sexy or as an allusion to glamour it doesn't work as well I don't think, and ends up looking a bit try hard.

greengreyblue · 08/09/2024 09:37

It’s just a pattern!!!
