I'm
Looking for something quite glamorous for a November wedding. I really want to try on several and would rather not order online.

I was disappointed In John Lewis last time I went. Any other suggestions.

Phase 8!

It would help if you said where you were. For instance Cribbs Causeway to the North of Bristol has loads of clothes shops but it would be pointless if you're in Lincoln.

Selfridges. Look for your nearest branch.

Beansandneedles · 06/09/2024 14:35

Would you travel? There are great boutiques in London. Can make a day of it

I didn't want a traditional wedding dress so went round places like this till i found the one. They're in London, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow.

Sorry. I'm in West Sussex. Fairly easy access to London

What's your budget? Liberty? Selfridges? I'd probably give JL Oxford Street another go because their stock varies, and it's a short walk from the other two. I'd try Reiss as well.

Actually this might be exactly the thing for you, @footgoldcycle:

The one with the split should go down well- not!
Surely the OP can find something better than that lot!

Should be ideal in theory but you can't get them and try them on in person. Ditto the John Lewis equivalent which seems to be run by the same firm.

Harrods OTOH says they have a try before you rent pop-up in store, so that might be worth a look.

Eh? You focussed on 1 dress out of 100s of options?
