Look 10years older than I am

Feeling increasingly down about the way I look and looking for any advice.
I’m in my early 40s but genuinely look 10 years older - I regularly get mistaken for older than my age and/or people are surprised when I tell them my age. Just today a colleague in her 60s made a comment about another woman being younger than both of us (she was mid 50s.
i have an ok figure, dress well but my face is so haggard. I have deep frown lines and nasal folds and skin on my face is very saggy.
I don’t smoke, drink moderately and exercise. I’ve cut out caffeine and reduced carbs/sugar.
is there anything other than injections/surgery that I can do to turn things around or do I need to just accept this is my lot.
Everyone else seems to be aging backwards and it’s making me increasingly depressed and withdrawn.

I'm 53. People tell me I look younger. I avoid sitting in the sun since my 30s always wear sunglasses and a hat in summer if in the sun a lot. Wear SPF 50 under makeup then too.
Things that make a difference :
Teeth -whitening- I use strips- Dr Dent
natural. Also use whitening toothpaste.
Eyes : I use Boots dazzling eye drops when tired. Also use a lash serum and it works!
Skincare: retinol at night x 6 and exfoliate on day 7. Use a good peptide moisturiser / hyalaronic acid and spf in day.
I always wear makeup and always have but now pay more attention to brows. I use a light bronzer which brings my face to life and a bit of blusher already wakes me up.
I get my hair highlighted every 8 weeks and won't be accepting grey as it doesn't suit my warm skin tone.
I'm interested in fashion and don't have an older mindset- having 2 adult DDs helps keep my style up to date .
I drinks lots of water and eat loads of plants, lean protein and good fats. Also 18:6 fasting daily has helped trim off some excess pounds .
I do drink at weekends but try to keep it limited.
I do have frown '11s' but can't bring myself to go down the Botox route.

I think Skin & Me is notorious for being quite low strength. Dermatica give higher %. I’m on 0.05%

I would go have a consultation with a good cosmetic doctor. A bit of botox would help with lines. But there are loads of non invasive treatments these days. So microneedling, laser, profhilo, radio frequency.. lots land lots of options.

Agree with all the other advice about diet and teeth but if you have deep lines and sagging in early 40s you may need to do a bit more.

Are you very slim?

honestly? Not being too skinny, long hair, you get style clothes and make up will help.

Unfortunately, no matter how strong your tretinoin it won't fix a sagging face or deep nasolabial folds. People need to be realistic about what any topical cream can achieve.
I love tretinoin and have been using it for a few years - it's great for skin tone and texture, sun spots and fine lines, but it's not a miracle cream.

Severe laxity and facial fat loss can only really be fixed by surgery, or sometimes fillers can pad it out a bit, but be careful of going overboard and changing the balance of your face too much and looking too puffy.

Share a pic. Bet you don’t look as old as you think you do!

could it be your style too? What kind of thing do you wear?
