Lanx, Blundstone or Solovair?

I’m on the look out for a new pair of winter boot and ideally want a burgundy Chelsea boot (or even a Chelsea boot with brogue detailing on the front). I have wide feet and wondered which of the 3 to try. I have some solovair black monkey boots from Toast that have worn well, but am also tempted by Blundstones or Lanx.

Has any I’ve had experience with Blundstones or Lanx with wide feet? And if so which ones did you buy?

My Blunnies (550) fixed 6 years of plantar fasciitis so I’m a big fan! I wore them constantly in freezing cold hard floored working conditions and they kept me warm and happy.

I have Blundstones but find them really heavy and clompy. Definitely wouldn't recommend them.

I have wide feet, and have worn Blundstones for about 30 years. The "half" sizes are the wide fit of that size. The sizing is also generous and I size down; I'm ordinarily a wide size 8/8.5 but I'm a 7.5 in Blundstone. I wear them with everything, and a pair lasts me about 5 years.

A couple of years ago I bought some lace up Solovair boots, because I had an ankle injury and Plantar Faciitis, and needed a bit more support. They are true to size and a little wide. I got the burgundy rub off colour, which is lovely. 2 winters later they loom new. They were also comfortable straight from the box.

I tried to buy some Lanx shoes a few months ago. Apart from terrible stock control and customer service, when I eventually got them, they were so narrow I couldn't get my feet in them (that was a size 9, so there was no larger size to try).
