New jewellery (cheapish) - where would you look?

I want to update the jewellery I wear most days. I have bought from Missoma but I am a bit bored of seeing my stuff on everyone else so I am thinking of looking elsewhere.

I’m very happy to wear the same thing day in day out - so probably not too statement-y - but it can be quirky.

Champagne tastes, lemonade pockets - any suggestions? Thanks

Vinted

QVC - tons of choice and you can send it back if you don't like it.
They are honest about what things are made of.

Sezanne do some nice pieces. John Lewis is good, particularly if you go into store for their vintage pieces. Monica Vinader is still going strong. And basic bitch that I am, I still love Accessorize for the odd bit.

Try Estella Bartlett. Some of it is a bit twee but other pieces are lovely and classic and understated - almost identical to designer jewellery at a fraction of the cost. I like her hammered gold disc pendant. And the lighting bolt is almost identical to a Paloma Picasso piece I was given (and lost) years ago which was £££.

I'd always look at some handmade british independent jewellers rather than mass produced. A lot of mass produced jewellery is only gold plated and not uk made.

I always have a look at jewellery stalls if I see one. There's one near me in a little shopping arcade, it's full of little independent stalls, that sells silver jewellery. It's where I got statement rings from and you can guarantee they'll be what they say they're made of.

These places are also good

Thanks for these replies.

I do try to look on Vinted but it’s a bit overwhelming in terms of what to look for.

I agree it is really good to support independents. These suggestions are awesome!
