Find me a maxi dress

Can anybody find me a nice maxi dress? I love them and as I'm quite tall i get away with them.

I want it to wear on holiday - in the evening when we go out for dinner and drinks etc, so nothing very over the top, but something that i could wear to almost look casual with flat shoes.

I cant find one that would suit - please help me!

you do NOT want a maxi dress if you have droopy tits.

S1ur · 16/04/2008 23:21

how about this?

What colour suits you?

(And an aside, do you have to be tall to suit a maxi dress? I have my eye on one, but I am preeeeety short)

S1ur · 16/04/2008 23:22

good for summer?

droopytits · 17/04/2008 06:11

i havent really god droopy tits - well they're not quite at my waist yet

I dont like the 2 above - colours are blue, brown, beige, well.....will look at any really.

No i think they look nice on short people too Slur, but some dresses dont suit me (especially knee length) cos I am tall.

That last one is nice and mermaidy, cod.

Droopy, have you got long red hair?

And: Is it possible to wear maxi dresses if you have a huge bust? I love them but am around an F cup, so look neither winsome nor ethereal.

OrmIrian · 17/04/2008 12:57

I am tall too and usually find that long things are not long on me. It's a pita.

fishie · 17/04/2008 13:18

bargain there must be something terribly wrong wtih it.

BugBearisBugBear · 17/04/2008 13:22

there is, it mings hard

droopytits · 19/04/2008 12:30

i think i have the wrong thing - maybe they are not maxidresses - what i want is a long flowing dress that you can wear on hols - have seen a couple on people and they have both been elasticated at the back ifkwim!

i bought one today from Mk one after looking at all the shops in my local area for one.

i dont think it is on their website so can't do a link but it is brown with a paisley print. sounds horrible but is actually v nice.

i found a nice one in Wallis too but not sure if this is too dressy for what you are after

here

BugBearisBugBear · 19/04/2008 17:25

that is lovely, i think. would be good for norks.

time4tea · 19/04/2008 19:14

droopy, I got a lovely one in H&M, black and white marimekko design. in cotton for beach etc on holiday (in cornwall in a couple of weeks...so I'm being hopeful)so I think its what you mean. halterneck, looks great on, very well cut even over mummytummy and big arse.

droopytits · 22/04/2008 11:12

fantastic time4tea, that sounds like the kind of thing I am looking for - I'll have a look in H&M. Is it long?
