my cousin has some mineral foundation she bought on QVC. I think it was £50. Her skin looks wonderful with it on and she doesn't put anything else with it.

I wanted to try some too, but I need to pay less than £50 - so I would be interested so see what the less expensive ones are like.

I don't use powder with mine...

I use Bare Escentuals mineral foundation/powders and swear by it. I wouldn't pay QVC prices though. There are some dealers on Ebay who do testers and getting started kits, and they are usually quite helful selecting shades....plus they are lots cheaper!
Once you get used to the brush and the "swirl and tap" it's straightforward, and very quick.
