and am very impressed! I hate foundation but my 42 year old dry skin needed something more than the concealer I have been using for the last 20 odd years. This is just a cheapy one from a local dept store but makes my skin look healthier, and, dare I say it, a bit younger

misdee · 15/04/2008 21:03

misdee · 15/04/2008 21:03

popsycal · 16/04/2008 07:18

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 10:01

misdee · 16/04/2008 10:03

cod, what is a codpeice? [shows lack of knowledge on style and beuaty section]

popsycal · 16/04/2008 13:03

well it has a real meaning and a MN meaning.....

popsycal · 16/04/2008 13:04

Cod - if you do, send ne a really expensive one

bigspender30 · 16/04/2008 13:23

the Almay one is great for the money and would suit anyone as it adjusts to you natural skin tone. Only thing that I would point out is it smells a bit like coffee?!!
But I am happy to live with that for a fiver.

bobsyouruncle · 16/04/2008 13:28

I'd love the Laura Mercier one, but can't justify spending £32 on a tinted moisturiser.

rainbowface · 16/04/2008 13:29

Can I just ask where you got the Almay one from as I havent been able to find any Almay products for a while? Thought they'd been discontinued.

whats the mn meaning pops?

is it like a tester panel? or does cod just try loads?

MeAndMyMonkey · 16/04/2008 13:37

Mac moisture balm is excellent, as is Estee Lauder daywear plus - I am a devotee, and feel that's all I ever post on here, but it is wonderful! Pricey ish at around £26 but lasts ages...

Kammy · 16/04/2008 14:25

I've just bought a Boots natural collection one...£1.99 fantastic. (Not usually quite such a cheapskate, but hey, if it's nice...)

Kewcumber · 16/04/2008 14:26

whats that stuff they're advertising that has a built in brush? [clueless emoticon] That looks foolproof even for me.

bigspender30 · 16/04/2008 16:00

rainbowface-i bought it in the Original Factory shop so maybe they have discontinued it hence the cheap price?

doggiesayswoof · 16/04/2008 16:08

I like Dr Hauschka toned day cream. £24 so not cheap but I don't wear foundation so I'm saving money really

Nice glowy effect and smells lovely as well.

ArcticRoll · 16/04/2008 16:56

I bought the Laura Mercier one a while back and it's ok but not worth the money imo.
Much prefer the Aveda one.

rainbowface · 16/04/2008 18:48

Thanks big spender.

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 18:48

another LM decryer

brimfull · 16/04/2008 18:52

Bobbi brown one is nice.

cocolepew · 16/04/2008 18:52

Tescos Skin Wisdom is good,I use it instead of a moisturiser then foundation on top. When I want to go a step up from deathly pale.
