Inspired by the thread about one thing that you have felt makes a difference
I am feeling very full of frump at the moment ; hair is frizzy and hard to manage (even though I just had a cut, it's slightly shorter than I wanted) and def know I need to shift some pounds.

I was with a very glam well groomed friend and we are all approaching 50
My fb is full of collagen supplement suggestions so I assumed that she would have a brand recommendation and asked her.
She said "oh no I would rather save my money for Botox tbh"

I know many think supplements are snake oil.
What do you think is the best way to help you make the most of what you've got?
Hair skin nails etc

I was looking at collagen supplements but apparently they are broken down to amino acids in your stomach so you may as well have a glass of milk. Best way is a really good diet, drink lots of water and wear spf.

Spend it on Tret. Single best thing I have done for my skin. I do nothing else. Will never get Botox. There are threads if you search.

This. Collagen supplements are useless. SPF, botox, and retinol will make the biggest difference. As well as the usual things like avoiding alcohol, no smoking, get enough sleep, exercise etc

Retinol makes no difference to me. Only prescription Tret is strong enough.Probably true for most as you get older.
