Comfy but supportive bras for small boob's!

I have a mixture of cheap (Primark) and more expensive bras but none are really comfy. I'd like something more supportive than a bralette but not too structured. Does it exist? And where are the best places to go in London? Thanks!

Aargh...autocorrect put in the random apostrophe. 🙄

I have your answer. Shapermint. I can't remember the exact model, but I'll try to follow up if I can. I had the same problem. I ordered a black one just to try it, & I think I was going to return it as it was similar to a couple I already had. Then I realised the quality was far superior. I usually buy cheaper bras, but I'm so glad I kept this one. You order online & I think it comes in a couple of weeks from America.

As always on a bra thread, are you wearing the right size?

Try measuring yourself using the calculators from boob or bust or a bra that fits. You might be surprised!

Somewhere there is a series of photos (I'm sure a lovely MNetter can help) showing what , for example, a 28D looks like, you'd be surprised

I like this. I'm actually a 28EE but find this comfy for day to day wear and it works well under camis. I found other bralettes showed.

This is so right. I'd been wearing a 34B but wasn't completely comfortable so did the boob or bust measure and am actually a 30D. It really is amazing how much better it feels. I'm small but the D cup with smaller back is perfect

Createanewname · 05/08/2024 08:51

I think I'm a 34B but I am going to remeasure. Haven't been "officially" measured in years.

I just measured with Boob or bust and it came back with 30E. 😮

@Createanewname hate to say it, but I told you so 😂

Try a few bras in that size, plus a sister size if you feel like the band is going to kill you. The support should come from the band so when you get that right, plus sufficient room in the cups from increased cup size, you should feel much better supported

I went from 36c to 34ff when I got the measurements right, much more comfortable

That's what my face did when I finally measured myself properly on there.

But it changed my bra life.

Try Lemonade Dolls.

Does this give much support?

NotMeekNotObedient · 07/08/2024 20:54

Yep, I was a 32B. Then I did Boob or Bust 30E. Currently breastfeeding and a 32F. I was so shocked but the fit is amazing now.

You should try an independent fitter. Mine is brilliant and sells bras about the £35 mark. The last two I had lasted three years, rotatiing just those two.
