I like the claptrap beauty therapists spout when they are trying to sell you the extortionate products they have just used during your facial. 'You need something deeply hydrating, like this '. Why not just 'drink more water'?

PuffCoddy · 14/04/2008 19:04

and htat has been shown to haev no effect on skin, water, has it

I don't want a glass of water on my bathroom shelf though, I want nice little pots that come with a free gift set.

Wats are you still about? Have looked at that site and want a mascara - which is the best YSL or hypnose? If YSL which one?

BBBee · 14/04/2008 19:42

it is all bollocks.

they run a focus group where someone says:
"i love graphy type modern lines on tubes of cream pref white and blue wiht maybe some silver"

and they stick that on the side of the packet.

Saw an advert last night, for a shampoo whose name escapes me (worked well then). 89%blah blah readers noticed an improvment. Small type in corner 'tested on 221 readers'. It's not reall that much is it. I expect it to be at least 1000.

BBBee · 14/04/2008 19:49

agree lancome - alwys see YSL as a bit trannie (runs)

cornsilk · 14/04/2008 20:24

Ordered the black one in the end as was only waterproof one - am prone to panda eyes.
Is your kitten called blackie? He would be in our house, that or black black.
