Is this Pearl Ring too frumpy?

Too Queen Mother? I'm 45 and looking for something to wear on my right hand as left is wedding and engagement stack. Another option is a Sapphire ring but wondering if this is too POW and might also be too clashing with clothes depending on the day and what colours I wear etc.

Not inherited. I've been saving for ages to buy a nice ring and spotted these 2 recently that fits my budget. Ruby and Emerald are out of my budget. Already have solitaire engagement ring and wedding ring is cartier trinity. So I'm casting about for something a bit different 🙂
