Gloves to protect hands from sun

Hi

Does anyone wear gloves in the summer to protect hands from the sun ?

I put sunscreen on, but of course with handwashing it’s not easy to keep reapplying .

Was thinking of wearing gloves .

As a child I remember playing with my mother's vast collection of thin white summer gloves. She's had them since the 50s when it was usual to wear them. If you don't see anything new that you like, it might be worth checking vintage clothing sellers.

I've got these for driving, they are cool to wear and help when the steering wheel gets hot in the sun too. The fingerless style helps with using buttons or touchscreens:

I’ve seen loads of people wearing these in SE Asia, often long gloves right up the arms, so Asian sites are a good shout

People are weird. “I have never burnt my hands so it’s fine”, don’t understand people have different skin types, can be undergoing medical treatment meaning the sun has to be avoided. Or you spend alot of time outdoor etc

I think thicker fabric gloves in summer looks odd, I survived the 80s and would think lace gloves would look better. I used to love mine.

Cotton horse riding gloves OP? Thin enough to do things in, keeps the sun off without sweatiness and pimple grips for reins/steering wheels.

Lace provides bugger-all sun protection though
