For parent I should say. No frills, puffs, shirred bodices, cut-outs, or buttons. Must be bra-friendly. Prefer orange, coral, bright pink, deep greens, plain or pattern (no floral spriggs). Hourglass, 10-12, 50. Have long sleeved options but looking for something suitable for a warmer day

I wore a Hobbs crepe, sleeveless, spotted, button up dress, with a belt for DS’s graduation. I felt just right in it.

I think that M and S dress would look decidedly frumpy on many many people - definitely on me! I just think wear something you like that is not too hot - been to 4 graduations with mine and on occasion we've been really high up in a building and sweltering! Polyester a big no for me.

I wore this to my son's graduation. Lovely and light for the weather. I don't normally wear shirt dresses (quite busty) but wonderwebbed between the buttons and there was no gaping & it fitted really well
