Gorgeous, floaty, thin, cool, summer dresses that will Make me feel like a holiday queen. Probably to wear during a balmy evening, Aperol in hand.

Extra marks for tie back or front, midi or maxi, cut outs, short sleeves and under £100.

I am really sorry but these types of dresses really don't suit me so I cannot comment as I think, unless you are very petite and under the age of 30 leave well alone. The first 2 options suggested in this post only serve to endorse my view (just my opinion).

@Verite1 clearly if we're over 30 and/or overweight we may as well don a sack cloth & ashes as we're bound to look awful in just about anything 😳

I really like this dress. Tell me honestly though - is it one that would work with a larger bust? I struggle with dresses like that gaping!

@AnonymousBleep it is quite low cut. I discretely pinned it near the bottom of the V as I also am very blessed in the chest department!
It's pretty flattering though - I'm not very tall and usually feel swamped by maxi dresses but this felt different. I had lots of compliments when I wore it so must have looked ok!

I’d say the opposite. I’m not quite under 30 (!) but I am very slim/petite and most of these dresses would look awful on me.

If I wear a maxi dress I need something with cut-outs and/or thin straps and not too much volume of material, otherwise I look really frumpy/like I’m wearing fancy dress.

The dresses linked here are much better on someone a bit bigger tbh.

I saw a larger lady at the train station the other day in a floaty maxi dress. She looked ace.

This is beautiful to wear, I bought it (and you can adjust the waistline with the internal cord that has external pretty tassles!) it's quite long on me (5ft 5) it's very swishy, and I feel absolutely fabulous when I wear it..

This was the kind of vibe I was looking for!
