I'm posting this for help with ideas for my fabulous dsis who has a senior corporate job. She's been working from home for a long time but her new role will be occasionally client facing and her wardrobe needs an overhaul.
She can't bear clothes shopping at the best of times so a personal shopper would be her idea of hell and there is no way she could be persuaded to try one. I have been known to buy things and bring them to her to try on and have managed a few successes that way over the years.

She's 5'5", a very young looking mid 50's with a short hairdo that suits her. Has reached her target weight recently which means 10-12 on the bottom with very narrow hips, slim legs and a broad 14ish on top to accommodate her boobs- good bras not an issue. Tanned skin. Suits stronger colours more than pastels and happy to wear a bit of bling or Mickey Mouse merch, she is known in the family as Tigger!

Given the choice, she's happiest in cycling shorts or jeans and a T-shirt, she's very much a functional dresser. For holidays and occasions she is good in cutaway sleeved, higher neck A line dresses that finish above the knee, likes wedges and would say her legs are her best asset. Wallis and Roman are the brands that have worked most consistently for her before. I've been encouraging her to tone down the prints/patterns for a more up to date look. Photo was when she was a stone or so heavier than now.

I was thinking to start with a couple of wider legged trouser suits with non fussy jackets but no idea where to find them. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Perhaps you could give an idea of her current budget?

Cos is very mainstream, so a good place to start. It isn’t generally necessary to wear ‘a suit’ for office purposes these days - but something like this would see her through the rest of the summer and early autumn with some well cut trousers:

Thank you. I don't think she'd spend much more than £100 per piece realistically.
The simplicity of the jacket is what I had in mind but it would not sit well on her top half- big bust would make that look very mumsy and accentuate the imbalance (I'm a similar shape). Was thinking a bit more fitted and edge to edge- Bravissimo used to do great ones but they've stopped sadly.

I'm kind of similar to your DSIS, but a bit shorter and not as slim. Congratulations to her on her new role. Wide leg tailored trousers in a good colour with a simple print, eg stripe, flowy-ish blouses works really well on me. M&S have a lot of good trousers for not that much money. Blazers are good if they are a bit oversized or have softer tailoring and aren't meant to be buttoned. Thin knit jersey tops are good. Basically anything that doesn't add bulk to your top half is what you want. Sleeves that hit your elbow draw attention to the waist, where shorter sleeves draw the eye to the bust so make you look bulkier so look for a 3/4 length sleeve. It can be frustrating to find dresses that fit well, but mock wrap dresses are brilliant - Jen Midi Dress With Mock Wrap In Black | Frock Tales | Wolf & Badger (wolfandbadger.com) have fun shopping!

Hobbs?
Look to have a good workwear range

I used to be similar physique and I'd be going for a single breasted blazer, tapered trousers rather than wide leg, maybe a pencil skirt with a jewel coloured silk blouse or top.
