Pretty please!

Am Godmother at Christening and attending a wedding a few weeks later so would like something suitable for both.

Have big norks, good legs and am 5.3"

TIA

This any good?

It's nice, but I am similar height to you (with big norks!) and I think that horizontal waist band might cut you in half and make you look top heavy.

Do you like showing off your arms? What kind of budget do you have? What is your colouring?

My arms are fine, budget....well no more than about £80 really.

Have lots of accessories already but will buy more if needed

I've got dark hair and I'm quite fair skinned. Most colours tend to suit me except yellow- but then who'd wear yellow anyway!!

Thanks for your help.

This is really nice when you zoom in (looks shiny in main image but I don't think it is):

I also like this John Rocha number with a shrug/wrap for church. You'd be a funky guest.

This is very pretty but not sure about length:

Meant to say that if you go for anything on Debenhams have a look at promo section as I got good discounts last week online (thta's my way of saying sorry for going over budget!).

Thanks so much for finding those.

They are all lovely but not quite what I want but I love

This from Monsoon but not sure if it's suitable to house large norks?

May have to venture into town one day this week methinks.

Monsoon is normally pretty good at nork coverage!! Love that dress.

SniffyHock · 13/04/2008 19:24

this doesn't look much but I got it yesterday in a mad moment and it looks lovely on. I tried it on over skinny jeans (to avoid getting changed!!) and it looked cool. Wore it last night with opaques and very high shoes.

ShinyPinkShoes · 13/04/2008 19:29

Oh that's lovely

Wanted something with not too much black in it but may well get it for evenings out!

The more I look at that dress the more I'm tempted.....will go and try it on this week I think

That's really pretty, SPS. I reckon you could get away with it with a bra with thinnish straps.

I also love this pale pink silk number. Very classy!

Thanks Patsy it would be great for the wedding but might be a bit toooo dressy for the christening.

Hmmm not sure what shoes I would wear with it.

OP posts:
PatsyCline · 13/04/2008 19:54

Oh yes, all that dry-clean only silk and baby sick might not go down too well.

I think shoes would have to be '50s style - pointy and quite delicate.

ShinyPinkShoes · 13/04/2008 20:58

I can't stop looking at that Monsoon dress.

Now for accessories....what colour, I was thinking pink......
