Broke. Need to downgrade my Estee Lauder DayWear Cream...to what?

I'm 43 and perimenopausal. Been using this for years and it's sits so well under my Clinique foundation and was serving me well, until recently.

I'm having a bout of cystic acne on my chin (awaiting some topical solution from GP) and am currently not working, so looking for a more budget friendly option.

Any ideas please? Been trialling the Cerave face cream with SPF30 in it (20% off at Boots atm) but it's like pure sun cream- too heavy and greasy (realise that's probably down to the spf, perhaps I should stick to factor 15?).

Yes I really like their SPF 50 sunscreen, I use that on sunnier days, and the Vit E cream on dull days when I am not planning on going out for long.

I really rate the inkey list, ceramide cream. Cheaper on Amazon too

I personally love most of the moisturisers in Lush. One or 2 are a little expensive but I've always found them brilliant

Got a free serum worth £8.99, meaning technically the face cream only cost £4.50, right?! Might do what a pp said and decant it into my Estee Lauder pot!

LRP cicaplast cream for cystic acne. It’s about £15 I think and lasts me about 3 months day and night.

my skin care routine is bar soap, niacinamide 15% in the morning (readily available for under a tenner everywhere) and cicaplast slathered morning and night
