Bras to combat middle aged sag!

Do any of you have good recommendations for brands or styles of bra that can be worn to return a lowering bosom to the original location on the body?

I have found when looking at photos that my breasts seem to be superficially similar in dimension/skin etc to when I was in my 20s but that as a whole, they have moved several inches down my chest - which looks weird in t-shirts etc as there is a big gap between collarbones and breasts but not so much as there should be between breasts and waist!

I don't want a Wonderbra that pushes everything together into the centre, but just shortening the straps on my standard bra isn't right/doing much either. Is this a thing that a) exists, and b) is actually sufficiently comfortable to wear as an everyday solution?

You probably need re-fitting. By experts.

Rigby and Peller is the standard solution - though you need to go in person and be measured, rather than just ordering online.

(I daresay any exercise that improves posture might be good, too.)

Excellent, there is a Rigby and Peller fairly nearby!

Interesting how such things come in stages - I started out with fittings at M&S/Debenhams, then there was the maternity/thereafter Bravissimo era, and now R&P...

M and S are useless at bra measuring. Either go to Rigby and Peller or Bravissimo. It sounds like you need a smaller band size and a bigger cup size.

I’m about to go for a fitting at a specialist lingerie shop but the bras run at over £100 - I have never in my life spent that much on a bra. Is it the norm at places like Rigby & Peller?

I always like the balconette style. Howks everything up but not together.

I agree on a balconette, maybe Panache Tango or Envy.

I recommend working out with dumbbells as a great way of preventing sagging breasts. I'm living proof at 70.

Works really well for upper arms too.

Check out Caroline Girvan. Half an hour or so, 5-6 times a week. So worth it.
