Brow Lift on one side

My brows are really asymmetrical, the one side is fine, but the other makes my face look like its melting on one side as the brow points downwards and hoods my eye. I find a lot of the time I raise my brow on the bad side to compensate, particularly if having a photo taken or talking to someone. Raising my brow puts the brow in a position where it 'should' be, mirroring my other. It makes me really self conscious when I'm not doing this. I have for the past few years, sported a fringe to hide it but I hate my hair now as a fringe doesn't really suit me or my lifestyle.

Now I'm mid thirties I really want to do something about it. I went to see a practitioner about it but they said it wasn't worth doing and the risks outweighed the benefits but I still want to try something.

Has anyone had the same issue and what have you done? Does it work?

Currently I'm thinking either Botox brow lift on one side or surgery.

Surgery would be better in terms of not having to maintain but is of course by far the most scary. Would still be willing to try if it meant being able to have nice hair and not have to worry about keeping my forehead and brows covered all the time.

Give botox a go first and it will give you an idea of what it will look like permanently if you go down the surgery route. I know people who have had strokes and bells palsy etc and use botox to lift the part of their eye that slumps down.
