Lightening hair with chamomile flowers etc. - does it work and more importantly, is it safe while pregnant?

I want to lighten my hair abit but want to avoid actual highlights because i'm pregnant, and I am scared they will turn out zebra like. I read abit about using chamomoile flowers, lemon juice, hemp etc. but does it actually work? My hair is brunette, with some natural blonder bits, goldy bits, coppery bits etc. and has lightened in the past just from the sun, but that was when I was out in it every day, all day. TIA

Yes it does work as long as your hair gets some sunlight.
Its fine to use in pregnancy.
My hair lightens in the sun like yours but the lemon and chamomile will slightly fasten the prosess.
word of warning about lemon though, it will set your hair like a very strong hairspray.
