Can I wear this dress with these shoes?

Shoes are gorgeous, dress is gorgeous, but I agree unfortunately they won't work together. It's not just the colour, they're quite clumpy (in a good way). I'd be reluctant to get the blue version because I'd get so much more wear from a black pair. How much would you really wear the blue ones in future? Unless budget is of no concern, in which case buy both and save the black ones for another outfit!

Interestingly, lots of the lighter colour dresses on that site have been styled with black shoes but I still don't think it works.

The original shoes are probably too black for the dress but would like to see them on. You might get away with black if it were a patent ballet flat or slingback kitten heel, so less obvious shoe, but I think there's probably too much shoe here.

Alemais is gorgeous. I don't have any because I can't justify any more new dresses. I'd love any of these.
