Grey strands of hair at front

I've started to notice a few grey strands at front of my hair now.
I mean I've had the odd grey/white strand but before it was always something my child or friend might have noticed rather than me. Now I can definitely notice more a couple of grey strands at front.
What do I do about this?
I don't dye my hair so I don't know what to do.
Can I ask hairdresser next time? What would they do?

Well, I think you have two choices.

Start dyeing it, which means time, expense, roots growing thro and one day having to stop somehow...

Or just letting it happen, which means seeing one's age and,...I guess, going grey!!

I'm in the exact same boat, I have a growing streak in my parting. I'm not sure what I'll do. I like the idea of henna BUT does it ruin your hair??

How fast is this going to go cos I'm too young for that 😂😂

It's years since I've used it but henna won't damage your hair, if anything it will make it look and feel better.

I’m getting a white streak in the front. It’s getting noticeable but I can’t really do anything with it because I’ve got terrible eczema on my scalp.
You can get a John Frieda colour deposit shampoo and conditioner that just colours the greys. I think it’s called grey defy.

Defy grey, sorry.

That's good to know about the shampoo. I've got a few greys at the front now - I'm mid-50s so not a surprise, but am thinking ahead to what I might do in a few years.

Hopefully it will do the trick. It gets good reviews anyway 👍🏻

Yes another vote for defy grey -I only started using it recently, thanks to another MN poster, and certainly have more greys than you but they are mainly at my temples and along my parting so really showed up. It's been excellent on my hair, firstly simply blends the greys into a more golden colour, which on my remaining mid brow hair looks very natural, and secondly, has transformed the condition! I didn't expect that but am delighted as I had a lot of little wiry type greys but the shampoo and conditioner has softened those right down and my hair is really smooth now so just looks better all round.
Best of luck and hope you find it works for you too!

I can vouch for the Defy Grey shampoo and conditioner! I've just left my hair for a year and this has made it look so much better.

I would dye just the greys with semi or demi permanent in a shade close to the rest of your hair. This type of dye is much kinder to hair and fades so if you decide to stop dying it or can't get around to it the growth doesn't look as harsh abd dramatic as you would get with permanent not to mention the damage.
Another option is T highlights to blend the greys.
