Dd has asked me for 50+, moisturising, non-oily, no microplastics, no oxybenzone, non tested on animals, no animal products, fragrance-free sun cream. Does such a thing exist?

I’m not sure if it meets the full criteria, but I was recommended Altruist sunscreen by a dermatology nurse specialist. Its developed by a Consultant dermatologist.

Thank you both for suggestions. It is a minefield as there’s so much choice, all with different advantages and disadvantages.

Have you looked into ultra viotette?
I use queen screen because I want a glow and factor 50.

I live a “crunchy” lifestyle and use Badger

I’ve used Dermalogica spf 50 sport for years now. It’s fantastic and I believe it’s not full of any nasties, I can even use this on my face as well as body without any problems. It’s not cheap, but it is really good.

Ultra Violette should tick all those boxes

Our last couple of holidays our 8 yo has been using a snorkel style mask in the swimming pool. She spends all day in and out and mainly underwater. So we're regularly topping up with suncream. Trouble is she always burns under her eyes and around her nose where she keeps taking thr mask off constantly. Does anyone have any recommendations for a sun block or cream that would be better to use to try and stop her burning? Thanks
