Yes you need that particular Vitamin that you are deficient in, and that is why they are there.

I can't remember what it is though.

Maybe it's not a vitamin at all? Perhaps it is magnesium or potassium or something.

There. See. Most helpful.

Use a body brush before showering.

Saunas are supposed to be really good.. sorted my arms out pre-baby. Now I don't have the time

AmIWhatAndWhy · 09/04/2008 15:18

Dry brushing, and use a gel type moisturiser rather than a creamy one.

cardy · 09/04/2008 15:21

Anything that aids circulations e.g. exfoliation, body brush etc..

MrsTittleMouse · 09/04/2008 15:27

According to the food doctors on TV it means that you're short of omega 3. So more oily fish and flaxseed in your diet should help. I found that brushing helped too.

Pannacotta · 09/04/2008 15:35

lack of vit c and essential fatty acids, take supplements if necessary or eat loads of citrus, avocados, seeds, oily fish etc

MissingMyHeels · 09/04/2008 15:38

It's called Keratosis Pilaris - I went to my doc about it as wasn't sure what they were. Various treatment methods, microdermabrasion worked for me!

Jazzicatz · 09/04/2008 16:25

Thanks all - will give the body brushing and moisturiser a go!

You can use a friction mitt and a moisturising shower gel in the bath instead of the dry body brushing - I find this works better for me and is less hassle.

Use a really good body moisturiser (Trixéra is the best).

I have had success with sulphur soap (bought online) and a body lotion for very dry skin.

Beetroot · 10/04/2008 17:24

dry brush
