Hen party outfits: older lady needing help!

Niece’s hen do, city break type thing, Uk based. Will be mainly bar crawls and restaurants.
I have no idea what to wear, I live in leggings, and nights out are smarter leggings with a smarter top. Am ok with dresses but don’t want to be in heels after drinking, and find that trainers don’t work for me with dresses as I’m not tall and not slim and they seem to make me look dumpy. Never found a jumpsuit that works for me either for the same reasons.
I don’t want to dress like 20 somethings who make up most of the party, but am c. 10 years older than the bride’s Mum & MIL to be who are both quite glam. Any ideas please? Specific links appreciated! Thank you

We need your clothing size and budget! And the time remaining for shopping.

Where do you usually shop? How do you like to look? I imagine the other attendees expect you to look like you, rather than an apology for not being them, so you’re completely free to choose any version of your best self.

And there’s an infinite range of Sumner footwear that doesn’t involve heels or trainers.

Ah yes more info would be useful! Thank you for responding. I'm a 14. It's not til early September so plenty of time to shop, but I've a very busy summer so trying to get ahead. Difficult to know what the weather will be like re footwear. probably better with something cooler clothes wise as we'll be spending a lot of time inside and I can then adjust with layers.
Most of my clothes are from TKMaxx, M&S, Klass, Roman. Odd bits from Next, Apricot.
Budget: I am comfortably off but am constantly shocked at how much some of the recommendations are on MN - I won't be spending £200 on a blouse for example. I guess I'd be looking at £50 max for a top.

You could start with something simple like this:

www.cos.com/en

and add co-ordinating long line shorts or culottes, also at Cos. Simultaneously smart and relaxed, and not too far from your usual wardrobe so would work through the rest of the Summer too. Gold or silver mules / fisherman’s sandals / Mary Jane shoes - whichever you like best.

What about something like this with gold gladiator sandals.

I would go flowered dresses with either flat sandals, ballet pumps or a white canvas pump

@BlanklyMyDear I hadn't thought of a waistcoat top - great idea and would suit my style, thank you. If I wear something like that with trousers, I could wear flattish boots if the weather forecast isn't great and sandals/shoes if we have an Indian summer. If I find something now, I am happy to wear over the summer, so your other suggestions are welcome. . I don't need items to be unworn by the time the hen do comes around, I just wanted suggestions for what sorts of things would be appropriate for the occasion whilst being true to my own style.

Canvas pumps a good idea, that makes me feel more comfortable looking at dresses, thank you
