Is color wow dream filter rubbish or am I doing it wrong?!

About 3 weeks ago I had my hair coloured - ashy blonde colour.
It's already starting to look a bit warm and brassy. We live in a hard water area and I saw the color wow dream filter advertised on Facebook and thought it might be better than purple shampoo.
Sprayed it on and left it about 10 mins. Shampooed it off. Well, It's done bugger all! Am I expecting too much? I've had better results from purple shampoo for less than a fiver! Will I need to use it a couple of times to see a result? Feel a bit scammed to be honest!

I feel the same.

i looked in their website, it says not to use after colouring until you’ve shampooed for at least five times. None of that is written on the bottle.

I bought this for my mostly white hair - has a tendency to yellow around my face, probably from cosmetics or heat damage maybe - and it's ok but not as amazing as the ads would have you believe. I get the best result from really saturating my hair with it and really massaging it in/through the strands and leaving it for about 5-10 minutes. It does fade the yellow but doesn't quite disappear. If anyone has recommendations for what does actually work I'd love to know! Should say I've tried a few purple shampoos, from cheap to expensive, and not found a really effective one yet.

I buy this purple shampoo and honestly it works so well. My hair went from brassy to completely ash almost straight away

Fanola No Yellow Shampoo,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CGPMEAQ?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

Cant comment on wow, i need to try it. But thought id say my hair is very dark brown naturally, but i have it ashy blonde and live in a very hard water area and i now only use OsMO super purple shampoo, i get it off amazon. Hair dressers uses it in her salon. I wash my hair with normal shampoo, the with osmo super silver shampoo and leave on 5 mins, wash it off, normal conditioner then wash. It keeps the brassy gold away. You could always get a home toner and pop that on the half way mark before your next colour too.

I'll def give the fanola shampoo a try, thanks for the tips!
