Exfoliating legs

Can anyone suggest something for me to try. I exfoliate fairly regularly but I moisturise my legs every day. Despite that I have 2 patches on each leg that just won’t smooth over and highlight any form of fake tan or gradual tanner. Both knees have a patch about the size of a 50 p. Same spot on both legs just under my knee cap have the same. Any miracle products or am I looking at having white spots when I tan my legs.

I spritz my legs with The Ordinary glycolic acid then apply a layer of Cerave SA Smoothing Cream x3 weekly. It’s a miracle combo - tanner goes on a dream on the next day. My legs were like sandpaper before I did this and no lotion, no matter how fancy, sorted the problem.

Not sure how it works with the fake tan, but I use sugar mixed with olive oil. I use it in the shower at the end, rinse the sugar off and then have very smooth legs!

A scrub mitt or "Korea Italy towel" or a Moroccan hammam mitt

Is it keratosis pilaris? If so, something with a high percentage of urea (like flexoitol) might help.

I have the same on my knees so watching with interest!

Try a bath oil on a facecloth massaged over the dry bits. And a touch extra moisturiser on those bits pre fake tanning

Funnily enough, I saw someone do this on tik tok last night. I might give this a try.
