Big day out/date and the weather...

I can't do coats. Or I can, I like a coat that does it's job, but they're not stylish or flattering and I find "inbetween" coats even harder.

So tomorrow, in London, it's forecast to be warmish and wet.

I'm going for a posh lunch, to see a show and dancing, so quite a challenge to be appropriately dressed for it all anyway, and then I think I need a rain coat?

My original plan was straight leg jeans, a silky halterneck top, leather trainers and a wool cropped jacket.

But the top will be odd and the jacket horrible in the rain?

Really, my only rain coat is a hiking type jacket or I have shower proof down jackets, but nothing "smart". I do have a turquoise leather jacket, but the top is purple/Heather coloured and I'm not sure that's much better in the rain anyway?

The activities indoors but quite a lot of walking between them.

Help!?

Just a brolly?

PCcrisps · 14/06/2024 19:32

I don't think I own a brolly. I haven't used one since I couldn't hold it and push a pram at the same time, hence a the "proper" coats. DS1 is 23 now 🤣

As its not really cold, i think investing in a brolly is your best solution!

Then you have to carry it
