Scalp & eyes driving me crazy! Sensitive shampoo & conditioner recommations needed

Hi all,

I am clawing my eyes out today, as I have been on & off for months. And clawing at my scalp. I have very sensitive skin, and have always had to be super careful with what I use on my face, body & hair. Face is fine & body too, but my scalp has gone into overdrive these past 12 months, and nothing I've used in the past is working.

I've tried SO many- cheap to expensive & nothing is working. Organic/ free from everything/ plant-based- you name it, I'm clawing. My eyes are weeping & constantly look as if I've been crying.

Andrew Barton Kind & Gentle worked well for ages, but it's discontinued.

I use an organic hairdresser & he ordered a set for me at £50, but I still itched like crazy & he refunded it.

Please give me your suggestions as I'm going out of my mind. Fine hair, but lots of it, & good condition.

TIA

I've found Eucerin shampoo and scalp lotion the best for me and have also tried loads. It's probably best to see your GP to try and find out what's going on though.

I didn't know you could get that. I've used their face cream in the past. I'll search that out. Thanks so much.

Maybe try Oilatum head to toe it's multi-purpose wash for babies with eczema, not so expensive and very gentle as to be used practical from birth (no clue how it works on longer hair though)

There was a thread on here awhile ago and someone posted this link where you can put the ingredients in to see if they contain anything that would aggravate.

not saying this is what is going on with you but it’s a pretty common cause for itching and flaking in areas especially with hair but not exclusively
