I would like an 'invisible' vest to wear under a white silk blouse, and possibly under thin pale coloured woolen jumpers.
Ideally, I don't want the vest to show through, and I want it to hide my bra, because I don't want that on show.
I don't mind if it is shape wear or not. I'm looking for a sort of 'primer' for the body. Everything seems so see through and thin.
I tried a Chantelle vest, but it hid nothing and showed through.
Any ideas, please? I'm in the UK

Right, just ordered the uniqlo because it looks very thin.
I can always use that anyway.
I will report back, and meanwhile take a look at soem of the other suggestions.
(except the charity shop donation - I get where you are coming from, but not ready to give up yet!)

What colour did you buy from uniqlo? and does the bra you intend to use have a strap?

I’m going to uniqlo today to buy the same - I have this beautiful blouse that I never wear because it is sligthly see through but it would be just perfect for an event I’m attending on Thursday

Be aware that uniqlo does not give you free returns online and you can only exchange in store if you bought online - or get a credit note

May, I didn't look at the name of the shade, but it's the beige one. Even if it does not work, I can find a use, so will keep it.

To everyone who recommended Uniqlo Airism - you are brilliant.
Just arrived. I bought L in 31 beige. (busty size 16)
It is long enough for a long person.
Tried with the white silk blouse, which is looser fitting, and could not see my very lacy bra at all. (vest has shoestring straps, so they will not cover bra straps)
Tried with off white knitted polo neck, and could just see the shape of the neck on vest - not perfect, but certainly the best so far.
This is a brilliant top, like a primer for the body. Stops things from being see through.
It has a lot of properties like stay cool, anti wicking, but can't comment on that as yet.
