Which Cerave cleanser and moisturiser for dd age 13? And ds age 16?

Heeelp. Overwhelmed by skincare products. I've been looking at Cerave and Nip and Fab but am.not very savvy myself on these things and am overwhelmed by the sheer range of products. Can anyone tell me which specific products you'd get for...

  1. DD age 13, needs a cleanser and moisturiser, skin a bit oily and gets quite a few spots on her nose. Doesn't wear make up. Nip and Fab seem to do a night and a day cleanser... does she really need both?!?! Or something else?

  2. DS age 16, a remarkably zit free kid whose skin is prone to dryness and has just moved from an electric razor to a wet shave. Basically just uses simple face wash and a bit of aveeno every now and again but I'd like to get him something for teenage boys.

Thanks from a skincare idiot.

CeraVe foaming rather than hydrating face wash for DD (oily skin and hormonal acne).
And the CeraVe cream in the blue tub is the business whatever your skin type IME.

I agree with the above.

Nip and fab products are pretty crap tbh.

CeraVe is really good for young skin.

flannel & bar soap and a moisturiser with spf (my dc use a cheap-ish sensitive drug store own brand)

Agree with the first post. DD, also 13, has oily skin and uses Cerave foaming cleanser and either the Cerave PM moisturiser or Byoma gel moisturiser.

Fantastic, thanks everyone!

Cerave SA cleanser is the best one to start off with

@Sgtmajormummy is there a big tub for face? Or do you use the body cream one as a facial moisturiser?

Have a look at spots and stripes. The cleanser leaves my skin feeling so soft on the occasions I have used it . Both my DDs now use the range having converted them from unsuitable adult products.

I second this, here is my routine that I follow:
Morning:
Using micellar water to wash your face,
Cerave cleanser,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Vanicream moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

Get the moisture lotion with the pump. I butly the 473ml one lasts ages. My dc older tweens use the cerave blemish control pump cleaner

There's a Swedish skin care therapist I sometimes look at on Youtube who says that Bulldog sensitive cleanser is brilliant. Though she says Cerave do good products she doesn't care for them because it's sold in China so tested on animals (haven't checked this myself mind), but says that the Bulldog one is a great option to the hydrating Cerave cleanser. I'm thinking of giving it a go sometime, a tube is handy. Anway, it's "for men" so might be a good option for a lad. https://uk.bulldogskincare.com/products/sensitive-face-wash
