Is there such a thing as attractive footbed shoes?

I want to spend all summer in a pair of footbed shoes again. Does a stylish pair exist? If not stylish, I would settle for Not Completely Gopping.

(And if Not Completely Gopping doesn't exist I'm going to get a pair anyway).

not really, but try Clarks or Camper for not-quite-gopping comfy shoes, or Ecco or Birkenstock for fabulously comfy goppers.

open toe or closed? with backs?

Probably closed toe without backs. Cloggish looking things, but flat.

I'll have a look at those you've mentioned. I think I'm going to look for something in a nice design - nice colour or printed leather maybe. I rarely wear patterns on clothes so a patterned pair of shoes would go with most things in my wardrobe.

try these

am fairly sure they come in exciting colours too but aren't on Clarks' website

Have you thought about canvas? some very cool printed converse about

PuhPeng · 04/04/2008 14:32

Gosh, these shoe websites are all a bit fangled aren't they.

Canvas could be the answer I'm looking for.

I quite like those Clarks ones, but they're not the shoe I'm after.

Now you've said canvas I want canvas but can't find anything backless!!

Am currently considering canvas pumps. Don't want to look toooo studenty though.

What about brands? I often like Irregular Choice and Rocket Dog and Red or Dead - that sort of thing.

Try the bullfrogs website.

Schuh is usually good for rocketdogs

Well I've just trawled around town and found nothing nice. Harumph.

Some very pretty little fabric dolly shoes which appealed but they'd wear out in a week. Some niceish velcroish things in Clarks but for some reason they'd decorated them with a sort of medical bandage effect.

I just want a pair of comfy, slip on shoes to wear every day.
