What do you think of this dress?

Opinions on this dress please?

I have bought it to try out and really like the fit, which is flattering, but just not 100% sure on the style or the pattern being age appropriate or not...I do wear some quite busy patterns but mainly florals.

I'm 36, 5ft 7, size 16.
Not a trendy fashionista by any means but I'm also keen to retain some youthfulness and not look frumpy! (Which I know can be a risk with midi dresses and certain patterns)

I actually find those type of dresses really handy for general day to day life when I want a change from trousers/leggings.
