I've got a few in my face but I can't currently afford to see a dermatologist.

Has anyone successfully removed one from their face without making a horrible mess of it? 😂

I have one on my forehead that I'd really like to get rid of.

I have read that you can use salicylic acid - but how strong, I'm not sure.

I’ve made headway with a salicylic acid cleanser and a face scrub with Niacinamide. A few smaller ones but not a larger one. Taken a few months so far

Sorry, no advice OP but I’ve got quite a few so would like to know too. I regularly use Tret and also Paula’s Choice BHA 2% (not on the same nights) and they’ve made no difference to that. In fact, I think I’m getting more.

I’d like to know too. Have watched lots of insta videos where they are removed with an electrolysis type method, has anyone had that done?
a lot of mine are flat under the surface, and a few bulging out but small.

Ah that's disappointing to hear. I've been using products with salcylic acid for years but as you say, mine is only getting worse and more of them appearing. I don't have £500+ to get them removed but there must be something that works...?

Oh really, I've never come across that. Must have a look!

Thanks for replying.
Did you have some larger ones that are now smaller? Or completely gone?

Little bump for the morning - see what I did there? 🤣

Hi, not home removal but I had diathermy at a facial aesthetics type clinic nearly three weeks ago. They charged £125 and she did as many as she could in 40 mins inc tiny ones I hadn't been too worried about. At this point they are all flattened but there is some marks that I'm sure will heal in time.
She said that some might need another going over - but I dont think these will.
Be prepared for scabbing though.

The larger ones has significantly smoothed, part the problem though is it’s now darker. Maybes it’s part of the healing process, I do mark darker easily. It’s also on my cheek, the forehead ones seemed to go easier, where I have thinner skin. Possibly less sun exposure due to hair style too

ArchesOfsunflowers · 08/05/2024 09:12

They are cheap, but after years of different things I’ve found the boots ingredients stuff really decent

Sounds weird but I had a stubborn verruca that only went away with a compeed plaster on for about a month (replaced when needed obviously). I had one of these under my ear and decided to try the same method (you can cut the compeed plasters to shape) and after 2 weeks it kind of scraped off, for want of a better explanation! Obviously might be hard if you have to be in public and yours in on your nose or middle of forehead, but I thought I'd share my odd miracle cure for skin bumps! I think it is about not giving it air so the cells die off.
