Hair too yellow

Sorry if this isn't the right board - I had my hair done a couple of weeks ago and I'm normally v understated but she has put some highlights further forward than I usually have (usually have balayage, this is a new salon I've been to) and I think they're too yellow for my hair. Normally wouldn't be too fussed but they're soooo close to the front and really high up so they're impossible to hide.

I know people will ask why I didn't mention it at the salon - It looked lovely under the lights all styled, and then I thought my initial wobbles a couple of days later were because it's very different to what I have normally, but it's been a couple of weeks now and the more I'm looking at it the worse I'm feeling. I'm gutted because I've struggled with PND and this was the first time I've treated myself properly since having DC.

I know default answer is go back - I won't be able to make it back for a long while (work/poorly parent/childcare etc), is there anything I can do to fix it at home? Lesson learned for trying a new place!

Posted a pic of some of the main offending yellow bits vs my natural colour

You could try purple shampoo as that should neutralise yellow tones

I don’t think it looks bad, but you could Buy some purple shampoo and conditioner to take some of the brassiness out.

Jerome Russell does a silver toner that works well. You can get it from most supermarkets, home bargains etc.

For for it's worth, I don't think it looks yellow at all.

Jerome Russell is good as mentioned above and also this Colour Freedom stuff which is great and left my hair lovely and soft. There's no amonia or peroxoide in it so it doesn't damage your hair.
