I need a stylish/smart jacket any ideas?

I'd like to get a new jacket, but I don't have any idea about what sort. I wear tailored trousers for work and would like something I can wear with them, but not a suit style jacket. It can be casual, but not denim casual ifkwim. I'm a size 14 with a bit of a tummy and average norks.

Belted short macs are all around at the moment. Look great smart and also good with Jeans.
