Hair removal game changer

Listengold · 05/05/2024 21:53

I can't have laser treatment or have wax hair removal.
Hate creams and wet shaving is messy.
Recently I read on 'gransnet' about using a men's head razor.
The one I bought has 5 heads it's brilliant.
5 minutes once a week and my legs, underarms are lovely and smooth.
I've even used it on my face.

Why don’t they have something similar marketed for women I wonder?

Listengold · 05/05/2024 22:27

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress I'm amazed that no one has.

What is a men's head razor? And do you need to use shaving foam with it?

Listengold · 06/05/2024 09:07

@KindaBinding81 no foam needed.
Got mine from Argos it has 5 spinning heads.
Can be used wet or dry. I've only used it dry.
It's cordless as well. Fits in my hand perfectly.

Because we're all supposed to have whispy hair that only needs a light swipe to remove.

Agree with OP, the men's razors were a game-changer for me before I had laser on my legs. The women's razors didn't hack it all to get through my thick leg hair.

Listengold · 06/05/2024 09:25

@FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain thank you for tagging I don't know how to.
That's the one I'm sure you can get cheaper ones from Amazon.

It looks a bit bulky to use on underarms / chin, or is it ok?

Curlywurlywurly · 06/05/2024 09:46

If they targetted it at women, they would massively increase the price. Just use the male version if it works for you.

Shan5474 · 06/05/2024 12:26

I have seen these advertised for women. I use super cheap men’s razors currently because they have big gaps between the blades so don’t clog up like expensive ones or women’s razors. But I’d be interested in an electric one if it could do pubic area. They look a bit scary for intimate areas though

Trulyme · 06/05/2024 14:55

Thanks OP this is really helpful!!

That price is a lot but tbh it probably works out at a similar cost to the ladies disposable razors I use over time.

Is the one that has been linked the one you use?

You do NOT want to use one of these downstairs. I speak from unfortunate experience...

DietrichandDiMaggio · 06/05/2024 15:06

Sorry, I don't understand - are you saying you've only just realised you can get electric shavers?

Listengold · 06/05/2024 16:48

@DietrichandDiMaggio yes I am aware of electric shavers which go up and down this one goes circular. As I said legs take minutes no shaving foam, no mess.
Hair length is cut to 0.02mm according to the information

These are great

NewGreenDuck · 06/05/2024 17:54

Have you ever tried an epilator? I find it much better than shaving, it seems to last longer and, for me at least, it also seems to prevent the hair from growing.

CatrionaCat · 06/05/2024 19:12

Yes I also use an electric epilator/depilator [is it one of those words where the opposite actually means the same, like flammable/inflammable?]

Very painful the first couple of times, after which it doesn't hurt at all. If you've previously waxed then it probably won't hurt.

It bit me. 😫
