Ombre powder brows - yeay or nay?

Really tempted.

Tell me the good, bad and ugly please!

I've read they last for approx 2 years. What happens then, do they look awful? What maintenance do they need? Is there any trace of them after 2 years?

I've no idea but I'd do a shout out locally to see if you can find anyone who has had it done and has experience and recommendations.

They look awful.

I think I have this: semi-permanent tattoo brows with hair strokes at the front and powder for the rest ie filled in. It looks amazing and has given structure to my whole face. It fades really evenly and not too noticeably. I get it redone every two years. Because it's your face, I took this really seriously and went to someone who is renowned in the city I live in and has a six month waiting list. I followed their work on their website and Facebook to be sure it was what I wanted and took in pictures of her work I particularly liked so there was no miscommunication. If I can figure out how to hide my face in pictures, I'll upload some before, after and two years after pics later.

There is plenty of colour left after two years. It is all still there only faded. It is a real commitment. The other kind I think it is called micro pigmentation ( I can't remember) really doesn't last long and fades well before the two years.

I already had decentish brows but they were a little too light for my liking and I could never shape them the way I liked.

I've had mine done, they're amazing! Best think I've ever had done. It stings quite a bit, even with the numbing cream, and there's a top up 6 weeks later. They were drawn on first with eyebrow pencil, she then checked I was happy with the shape before tattooing them on. The colour was custom mixed at the time. They tend to use a lighter shade on the first treatment, you can always go darker on the top up. You will have brow shock for a couple of weeks, but you soon get used to them. They scab over so be sure not to pick or rub them while they're healing. Wearing SPF50 on them every day can make them last 4 years but I have mine done every 2 years. Good luck!
