Good rose fragrance for a woman.

Have just finished a tester of Ellis Brooklyn of Rrose a good strong rose on initial spray, lasts for a few hours. It seems that you cannot buy it in the UK anymore.

Does anyone know what I am describing (I don't know if it exists.
I'm looking for a Rose perfume; strong, rose smell.

Ellis Brooklyn Rrose was lemony, I don't need the lemon, I prefer, musky-er, spice-ier or a strong, deeper floral like Ylang Ylang.

I would want the rose smell would be the strongest note, and stay throughout the day.

Any ideas, please.

Guerlain Acqua Allegario Rosa Rosso Forte is gorgeous

Le Labo - Rose. Around £180 for a small bottle but smells divine!

Mancera Roses Vanille is lovely.

Lush rose jam perfume is VERY rose, in a slightly Turkish delight way. I find it a bit too much but you might like it.

@Illpickthatup Thanks so much for that! I'll order some. I was so disappointed when I found out it was discontinued, I've seen it for silly money on eBay and Vinted but this sounds like a fantastic alternative!

Paul Smith Rose is a long lasting one for me.
Tresor used to be nice, not had it for ages.

Neil's Yard Remedies do a fab Rose perfume. The Frankincense one is gorgeous, also

I second Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Maille but it is very expensive. I have the dupe by Perfume Parlour - it is called Dame Painting on their website. It is close to the original - my son bought me a sample of the original.

Ooh I have Jo Malones Rose Oud (in the black bottle), it’s gorgeous and lasts all day but is pretty expensive.

Liberty also have a gorgeous rose perfume - their own brand. It’s mega £££ but absolutely beautiful, possibly my fave perfume ever.

Liz Earle botanical no.20. Very rosy perfume.

Rose Goldea by Bvlgari but not just rose scented

What does Rose Goldea smell like?
Notes: (Top) violet leaf, jasmine, papaya; (Heart) rose, rose leaf, lily of the valley; (Base) Bulgarian rose, amber, white musk.

Paul Smith Rose, or Rose de Mai (can’t remember the brand, but M&S sell it) are both very good

I second Byredo Rose of No Man's Land - I have the shower gel and it lasts on my skin for ages.

Favourite perfume is Tobacco Rose by Papillon - a gorgeous rich, musky, long-lasting rose.
