Tips for fixing a hair dye disaster

Well, it’s not a complete disaster, but I’d like to change it as it looks too one-dimensional and fake. It’s a bit too brassy so I’ve given it one wash (so far) with purple shampoo, which I will continue to do. Any other ideas how I can go about making it slightly darker and more natural? I don’t want to re-dye it too soon, for fear of damaging it. Is there a way to put some subtle low-lights in it? Or any product I can use? Thanks

You could try a toner?

@Rattai Thanks, but I’m not really aiming for the ‘dream white blond’ shade. I’m going for a more darker blond.
