Supportive wireless bralette for small back big boobs?

PugInABeret · 29/04/2024 14:42

I cant be doing with wires since having dc. I'm a 30 FF and looking for a bralette that offers decent support, keeps my boobs inside it even if I lean forwards, and doesn't cost the earth.

I currently wear bravissimo Zara but recently finding that my boobs half fall out every damn time I bend over forwards and it's driving me round the bend.

Anyone know of any gems that fit the bill?

Sports bra's all day, everyday for me 👍

Molke

I'm a 32GG and have a few M&S flexi fit non wired full cup bras.

I also have the flexi fit lace non wired bralette which gives better shape but is a bit less comfortable.

I always find sports bras hurt my neck. Maybe I'm choosing the wrong style - and specific recommendations?

Ive looked at molke before and thought they would be supportive at all - am I wrong?

That's interesting, I haven't even bothered to look at M&S for years because they never have my size combo. I wonder if they do 30 back with a bigger cup nowadays.

Is it the racer back (T shaped) ones that hurt? I can't get in with them either. They make me feel like I've been tied up.

You can get sports bras that aren't that style if you look.

I'm still annoyed that M&S discontinued the sleep bras.

It looks like the full cup one comes in a 30F and 30G.

The lace one starts at 32 though.

PugInABeret · 29/04/2024 14:57

Yes - it is the racer back. Which is a pain because I like racer back tops, boo.

Just looked at M&S - the sole style they have in my size is a panache sports bra but it looks quite good. I may try it.

I am a 30GG. I wear Wear My Freedom wire-free bras. They are AMAZING!

They’re £55 but you can usually get a discount code. I won’t ever wear anything else.

I'm a 34K and happy around the house cleaning etc in them and nothing falls out

Boody! I'm a 32 FF (pre-pregnancy, bigger now) and bought the Full Bust Wireless Bra in large and it is the best bra I've ever had. I also bought the medium but it was a bit tight on my ribcage, so may be perfect for you at a 30. Soft, comfy, high enough cut that boobs don't fall out, supportive enough for a VERY light jog running after the dog. I've worn it every day since I bought it (with washes of course) since I refuse to wear underwired since the pandemic. At 6 months pregnant now, it still fits and is still comfortable. Fantastic, 100% recommend.

The original Molkes are very supportive. I'm about a 32f or g and I wear either a xs mega or small super .I've not tried their bralets that look like crop tops.

Thanks - that's very helpful info!

Curvy Kate have lots of styles of bralettes up to about a J cup.

I also have this and really love it. I take out the padding. Only £20 too. Super comfy and supportive, I wear mine to sleep in. Comes in a few colours.

The M&S Louisa DD+ bralettes are good and cheap. I'm a 30e and have it in 10 DD+ (they come in dress sizes) and it fits well. You might want to try the 12DD+ to give you a bit more room in the cup. They're pretty snug and it can be tricky pulling them over your head. Once it's on it's surprisingly supportive and pretty though.

@Blacknailer that decathlon one looks great - their size guide is useless though, do you have any advice on which size might be best for a 30ff?

I fully support this, I'm wearing my black full bust wireless bra from Boody (I'm a 32E so buy a medium which fit really well) it's supremely comfortable and it actually hoists them up well Smile

Just jumping on this as I have never heard of Boody but just had a look. They’re £30 cheaper than my current wireless bra, so was wondering what the shape is like under fitted clothing.

Athena51 · 30/04/2024 15:53

@PotatoPudding I usually wear quite fitted tops and find them very good, no back bulge, good support and I don't get the "mono boob" or matronly bosom look that other wireless bras have produced Smile. Their knickers are also excellent.

I'm a 34J/JJ cup and have the XL and am about to order a 2XL to try. So I'd say an L maybe, depending on how tight you want it?
