What shoes / acessories to wear with this dress? (Posh do, but working)

I'm going to be working at a posh do. My dress is almost identical to these, and I'm large / curvy, in case it makes a difference.

I'd normally wear heels, but I'll be hosting / working at the event so on my feet A LOT.

Can anyone recommend some nice flats that would go, or a heel that's not going to cause me pain if I'm on my feet for hours?

Any tips on accessorising also gratefully received!

Thanks :)

Those green ones don’t go at all, wrong colour and just at odds with the dress. I’d definitely go with black/metallic

It's a shame about the price of the Esskas, I think the Charlie Copper would look amazing with that dress.

OP,

I love the boots but I think they will give a less formal vibe. The various Mary Janes are good.

I offer this with trepidation, but British Vogue online is saying that platforms and wedges are back for Spring and Summer. They are certainly more comfortable and easier on the lawn…..

The green DM style boots?

Yes, definitely too casual for this event (sadly).

I quite like a platform / wedge.

I wore nothing but platform trainers for about 5 years, oooh, about 30 years ago!

Those £35 look good but the test would be whether they're comfy. Do you ever wear sandals? Maybe some sandals would work if you'd wear them afterwards. What about some gold trainers?

I sometimes wear sandals.

Trainers are too casual for this event, sadly 😕

I 've found a thicker sole to absorb the shock and a slight heel is more comfortable over the hours.

One of the shoe boot styles might be less prissy if clumpy boots are your thing. Thus sort of thing although not necessarily animal print.

Edited

I'd like a shoe boot, but not sure what would go?

Sole Bliss do amazingly comfortable shoes, including heels. They are worn by the royal family, Hollywood A Listers, Mary Berry and other folk who need to look stylish while being on their feet for long periods. I bought a pair of heels for a special wedding, wore them continuously for 10 hours and barely knew I had them on. Sadly they are expensive so this is the only pair I have ever bought. I'd buy them all the time if I could afford it. They do a great range of styles from trainers and flats through everyday heels to very glamorous heels for evenings which you often see at the Oscars and red carpet events. Camilla seems to wear nothing else.

I like these, but do they go for a push do?

I think so!
With some sparkly jewellery, they'd look great

Any jewellery with that dress and a bronze shawl for the evening, so probably simple bronze shoes and bag.
