Help! Moisturiser for cheekbones

Or rather - non-irritating moisturiser.

For the last few months, the skin at the top of my cheekbones - below my eye area - has been really sensitive. If I apply pretty much anything, it reddens up and looks sore. I've googled orbital eczema, dermatitis etc and happily it's not as sore or noticeable as that, but it is a bit sore and of course I don't want to do any damage.

Just about everything irritates this area, although the rest of my skin is completely normal and doesn't complain about products.

For full disclosure, I'm 62, my skin is neither dry nor oily. I would normally clean it - probably a wash off balm, possibly tone then add moisturiser with an eye cream (again, no problem with eye cream unless I put it on too lavishly and it gets to my cheekbones). I might or might not wear a light foundation/BB cream.

I use my DDs child's farm moisturiser. It's designed for kids sensitive skin and is often used for treating eczema etc so it might be perfect for your needs.

Ah good call, I hadn't thought of children's products but sounds good. I think I need the least aggravating thing!

I've recently had to switch moisturizer after always being able to use anything.
I'm now finishing my stash on my hands and using la Roche Posay Toleriane on my face.
I've also gone back to a cream cleanser rather than hot cloth + cleanser and my skin is much happier.

Cerave is my go- too but Aveeno is really good too

I get terribly dry under eye area, where the eye area (bags) meets the cheek. I tried the Cerave cream and wasn't too impressed but after a week or so it really helped, I think I just needed to restore my skins barrier. At night I apply a layer of vaseline over the Cerave for an extra hit of moistute/to seal it in.

I had this condition for years. After so much time, I realised it was because of the bond building shampoo I was using. Could it be that?
