That fabled spring coat...does it exist?

You know the kind, the one that doesn't let you freeze when it gets a little chilly neither roasts you when it gets warmer. Not a trench/mac (too thin) or anything woollen (too hot).

Is there such a thing or am I asking too much? TIA

There's not much around at the moment which is any good but I have some Reiss coats which I think work well for spring.

If you search on eBay or Vinted for a Reiss cotton coat you might find some you like.

Maybe something like this?

I feel like I've got the perfect coat for me at the moment, especially as it's still so cold, but not winter. It's a wool, I can't remember what the style is called, it's like a pea coat but withthe weird big buttons instead. when it's cold it's like having a cosy blanket on, but it's loose enough and airy enough for the few moments so far that the sun has popped out. I will then mve on the my cotton jackets, can't believe it's nearly May and I'm not in them yet. My winter coats have come and gone from storage a few times this year!
