Opinions on fitflop trainers? I have pain down one side of my foot and have been advised to wear more supportive shoes. On my feet a lot.

They're cushioned, but not supportive.

Do you know what foot condition you're suffering from? Is it sport related, weight related, arthritis, bunion, general wear and tear, maybe fallen arches?

Do you have wide feet? Lots of things to take into consideration. You might find insoles a good solution.

Not sure what it’s called, but it runs from my big toe joint and upwards along to my ankle. Almost feels sharp. Possibly a bunion. I have wider feet at the front, but narrow ankles meaning I have worn standard width shoes for years so that they don’t fall off at the back. It will also be related to being overweight and having an active job no doubt.

Fitflop shoes and trainers have definitely eased my plantar fasciitis. I won’t wear any other shoes day-to-day now. I wear running trainers for running, but otherwise, it’s Fitflop all the way.

@BourbonD You should look up whether you have a bunion. Does your big toe bend inwards? You need to find out what is wrong with your feet first. It's really important that you choose the right shoe for your needs. There's not a massive amount that can be done on the NHS for foot problems, so you need to ameliorate the problem, as once it gets worse, you could be hobbling around.
